Mirabella

This piece measures approximately 15 cm x 13 cm.

Mirabella mixes blue and purple with a screen-printed pattern shaped in the glass workshop. The pattern starts small at the bottom and gets bigger towards the top, giving a feeling of movement, like looking through water with ripples. The colours and changing pattern size make the piece feel like it’s always shifting. The smooth glass catches the light, and as you walk around it, the pattern seems to come alive. Depending on where you stand, the light and design play together to make it look like it’s moving, giving a new view every time.

Chained Grace

This piece measures approximately 12 cm x 7.5 cm.

This piece is a hand-blown coloured glass cup, made hot and shaped by hand, featuring a delicate borosilicate chain created through lampworking, along with flowers crafted in the furnace glass. The chain represents the idea of being tied or bound, while the flowers symbolise growth and resilience. Because the glass is clear, the ties feel hidden—like something that’s both holding together and quietly trapped. It’s a subtle play on connection and restriction, with the fragile flowers offering a contrast to the strength of the chain.

Echo

This piece measures approximately 35 cm x 12 cm.

Echo is a mould-blown vessel in a deep blue colour, featuring the delicate shadow of a flower branch sandblasted onto its surface. The name Echo speaks to the way the flower’s shadow acts like a soft reflection or whisper on the glass—an image that’s there but not quite solid. The strong contrast between the rich blue glass and the subtle, almost ghostly branch suggests a conversation between presence and absence, memory and reality. It’s like the vessel holds onto a quiet echo of nature, capturing something fleeting yet unforgettable.
